Shooting range equipment

Range equipment for shooting ranges from one manufacturer, complete shooting range equipment (some call it firing range equipment): target retrieval systems (target carriers), reactive targets, scenario lighting, range sound and the software that runs it all. We equip indoor and outdoor ranges, military and police facilities, commercial and club ranges and container ranges, both new builds and modernisations. Lanes run from 5 m, typically up to 500 m, longer on request. Every device works on its own, and you get the most out of them when they run as one system.

What shooting range equipment consists of

Target retrieval systems: Basic and Nucleus, technical drawing

Target retrieval systems: Basic and Nucleus

Target retrieval systems (target carriers) for lanes from 5 m, typically up to 500 m. Choose the economical, cable-driven Basic or the armoured, wireless Nucleus, which is live-fire tested.

RangeTech Master, technical drawing

RangeTech Master

Range control software that runs on any phone, tablet or computer, with nothing to install. Use it for scenarios and drills on one lane, a group of lanes or the whole facility.

Targets: RotoTarget, technical drawing

Targets: RotoTarget

A cable-free reactive target that turns 720°. It shows friend, foe or any angle and takes a hit sensor and RGB lighting.

Range lighting: RangeTech Light, technical drawing

Range lighting: RangeTech Light

Scenario lighting that simulates combat conditions. With 1 to 5 LED modules and a strobe, you can run night and daylight shooting on the same indoor range.

Range sound: RangeTech Surround, technical drawing

Range sound: RangeTech Surround

Sound that follows the same scenario as the lights and targets: battlefield simulation, plus commands and announcements from the instructor's station.

RangeTech LOMAH, technical drawing

RangeTech LOMAH

Location of misses and hits. The shooter sees every result at the firing point in real time, without walking downrange.

Where it goes

Range equipment for new ranges, modernisations and container ranges

The same range equipment runs in a twenty-lane indoor range, in a single container and in a facility that keeps its building and replaces only the technology. What changes is the selection of devices and the lane length.

01

New shooting ranges

We join the project at the design stage: rail fixings, power supply, docking stations and control are in the drawings before construction starts. The range opens with the complete system installed and commissioned.

02

Modernised ranges

The building stays, the technology layer changes: new target retrieval systems, targets, lighting and sound on the existing structure, in stages or all at once, and often without closing the range.

03

Container and mobile ranges

Panel rails fixed to the container roof without welding, carriers for short lanes, scenario lighting and tablet control. The container works like a full-size range and moves together with its equipment.

For which facilities

Equipment to suit the type of range

The same system runs a twenty-lane indoor range or a single container. What changes is the device selection and the lane length.

01

Indoor ranges

Lanes of 25, 50 or 100 m with Basic or Nucleus carriers, scenario lighting and sound, all synchronised in RangeTech Master.

02

Outdoor ranges

Aluminium rails do not corrode and the devices work from -20 to +60 °C. On long rifle lanes, typically up to 500 m and longer on request, Nucleus runs with no drive cable or trailing wiring.

03

Military and police ranges

Live-fire tested carriers, reactive targets, and tactical scenarios. We have equipped over 110 facilities in 13 countries.

04

Commercial and club ranges

The economical Basic does the daily work on each lane. Individual and group modes, and range staff run everything from a tablet.

05

Container and modular ranges

Panel rails, carriers, lighting and control sized for a short lane and a tight space, all in one container.

06

Modernised ranges

We upgrade an existing range in phases, with no rebuild and no shutdown.

How we work

From device selection to service

We start with a conversation about your facility: the firing lane, distances, type of shooting, budget and plans for expansion. Then come the technical design, installation of rails and devices, commissioning in RangeTech Master and factory service for the life of the system. From then on, one shooting range control system runs every device on the range.

  • Devices chosen for your facility, in stages if you prefer
  • Technical guidelines for the designer and the investor
  • Rails arrive as panels, so nothing is welded on site
  • Factory service, genuine spare parts, remote diagnostics

Range equipment in practice

Questions and answers

Common questions about range equipment

What does shooting range equipment include?

Everything that goes in once the building shell is up: target retrieval systems, reactive targets, lighting, sound and control software. RangeTech makes all of it as one system, matches it to your facility and commissions it in one go.

Do you equip container ranges?

Yes. We fit containers with carriers, targets, lighting and control sized for a short lane.

Can a range be equipped in stages?

Yes. A common order is target retrieval systems and control first, then reactive targets, lighting and sound. Each new element joins the same system.

How do I choose equipment for my facility?

Tell us about the range: number of lanes, lane length, type of shooting and how you use it. We will tell you where Basic is enough, where you need Nucleus and what order to expand in.
