Why RotoTarget

Turning targets with 720° rotation

01

Reacts to events

The target turns on a hit, a timer or the next stage of the exercise, so the foe appears at the right moment.

02

Stands where needed

Battery power and transport wheels mean no cables and no installation. Change the exercise layout in minutes.

03

Low-maintenance precision

Automatic calibration and self-diagnostics. The only routine maintenance is replacing the target face.

Optional modules

Expanding the turner

RGB lighting, technical drawing

RGB lighting

Colour and brightness controlled by the scenario, dimming and strobe.

Hit sensor, technical drawing

Hit sensor

A hit sends an event to the system and triggers the target's reaction.

Ballistic shield, technical drawing

Ballistic shield

A dedicated steel shield with an anti-ricochet panel, sold separately.

Target faces, technical drawing

Target faces

The device works with different shapes and types of target faces, chosen to suit the exercise.

Control

Sequences accurate to hundredths of a second

You set sequences and reactions, such as the response to a hit, to the hundredth of a second. A motion sensor can trigger them, a sequence can have any number of steps, and there are three operating modes.

  • Individual, group and scenario-controlled
  • Two-way communication with RangeTech Master
  • Safety distance: keep at least 5 m from the device while it is operating

Questions and answers

Common questions about turning targets

What is a turning target system?

A turning target system rotates the target face to show or hide it from the shooter: friend, foe, neutral or any angle. RotoTarget turns 720° (360° in each direction) and can turn in reaction to a hit, a timer or the next stage of a scenario in RangeTech Master.

Does RotoTarget need cables or installation?

No. It has a built-in battery and transport wheels, so you place it wherever the exercise needs it and change the layout in minutes.

Can turning targets react to hits?

Yes. With the optional hit sensor a hit sends an event to the system, and the target can turn, change its RGB lighting or start the next step of the exercise.
