RangeTech Nucleus

An armoured, wireless target retrieval system and part of the complete RangeTech system. The carrier drives itself, with no cables or trailing wiring. It charges automatically in a docking station, and add-on modules widen the drills you can run.

Why Nucleus

Built for continuous duty

01

Armoured design

An armoured front shield and side shields protect the key components from accidental fire and ricochets.

02

Panel rail system

Rails come as replaceable panels, which makes transport easier and installation faster. You replace a damaged section without welding or grinding.

03

Modular design and service

Replaceable assemblies make diagnostics, repair and expansion simpler. You also get remote technical support.

Additional modules

More ways to train

720° target turner, technical drawing

720° target turner

720° turner (360° in each direction): friend, foe and any angle. Also available with side and portable bullet traps.

RGB lighting, technical drawing

RGB lighting

Colour and brightness control and a strobe mode, all following the scenario.

Target preview camera, technical drawing

Target preview camera

Live image on the firing-point computers and tablets. Preview and control in one application.

Hit sensor, technical drawing

Hit sensor

A hit can trigger movement, rotation, a lighting change or the next stage of the scenario.

Design

Trolley, rail, docking station

Two drive wheels run on a panel rail under a trolley plate and an armoured front shield. The trolley holds the wireless antenna and battery, and charges at rest in the docking station.

  • Positioning every 1 m with accuracy better than ±1% of lane length
  • Three operating modes: individual, group, scenario-controlled
  • Magnetic or anti-ricochet target holder
